Last year, I started going to Barre3. I LOVE Barre3! Here are five reasons why:
- All I have to do is find enough discipline to show up.
- If I show up at least three times a week, I will see results.
- I have the flexibility to adapt each move to my own fitness level.
- For the one hour I’m there, I’m completely focused on cultivating a relationship with my body.
- I leave each and every workout feeling refreshed and accomplished.
Then one day last spring, I was lamenting my lack of attention to the business development aspects of my consulting practice when a question popped in my head:
What if there was a workout for my business?
Last year, I facilitated my first Fitness for Your Business workout with a group of fellow entrepreneurs! For one hour we cleared space in our heads, created content, and connected with clients and prospects.
Join us for a workout if you're interested in:
- making consistent progress in your business
- leveraging structure and community to keep you motivated

Here’s what a few past attendess had to say:
“Great experience! Can we do it 1x/day please? Maybe 2x/day?”
“I loved this business boot camp! Felt under pressure, but in a good way.”
“I should do this at least everyday!”
Loved it! Very helpful + productive!”

Questions + Answers
Here's a list of questions I would have if I were about to sign up for this class for the first time, along with the answers :)
Hmmm....do I really want to pay $12 to take a class where I could do everything on my own anyway?
Great question! And, I say it depends on how you respond to expectations and how you like to learn. Gretchen Rubin wrote a great book called The Four Tendencies. In her work she discovered that most people rely on external accountability structures to create the change they truly desire in their lives. If this is you, making a financial commitment to put your business fitness in top priority for one hour a week could be life-changing. Also, if you're the type of person who *plans* to workout but never actually does until I'm committed to showing up at a class (like me!), this is for you!
What if I can't make it, can I reschedule?
Yes, and no. If you let me know via email 24 hours ahead of time that you won't be able to make it, I'll move your registration for a future date that works for you :) If it's less than 24 hours, I won't be able to reschedule for you. This policy exists to help both of us! You actually feel the pain of commitment so that you show up and do the work. I'm not carving out time to show up and facilitate for an empty class. Things come up at the last minute, I get that. But this is a virtual class so there are tons of options to do this workout literally anywhere.
Can I buy a package of classes at a discounted price?
I haven't worked this out yet, but stay tuned. Perhaps in the near future.
Where does the class take place? What do I bring?
The class takes place in an online classroom. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions of me and the other participants via chat. You can raise your hand and ask a question within the larger group. This helps to keep interruptions and background noise at a minimum during the session. Once you sign up, I'll send over a preparation checklist, but basically you'll need: your computer, your planner (if they are separate), a note card and stamp.
How long is the workout?
Exactly one hour. No overtime, no running late - each section of the workout is timed precisely to maximize productivity and get you out on time.
